About a paint job on a VW bus that's nothing to what I saw some 45 years ago and never forgot it.When I first got to the Bay area we had the usual sightseeing to do and wound up at the wharf. There were all kinds of people selling all their goods very touristy stuff and then I see this VW bus and wondered why a burnt out hulk of a machine was there in such a prominent place.Upon much closer inspection the bus was painted to have that burnt out look and it was the most realistic paint job of a vehicle depicting a disater but amazing at the same time it was even signed by the artist. After hearing Santana on KSAN seeing a sub being guided in under the bridge at Lands End I knew this was the place for me and it was for the next 9yrs.
